Home Offices
At Jacksons we sell a huge range of quality wooden garden sheds and garden storage buildings and home office buildings. We have around 85 buildings on display at our show site in Birmingham.
The tanalised Home Office can be used for many different things; working from home, a home gym, a hobby room or a play room for the children.
Externally, the building features tanalised timber walls, PVCU window(s), PVCU glazed door and heavy duty felt roof tiles.
Internally, the building is insulated (floor, roof and walls) and the walls and ceiling are clad with high density fibreboard available in a choice of colours.
Electrics are also pre-installed; a consumer unit, two double sockets, light switch and light fitting.
There are various optional extras available such as telephone sockets, partitions, extra windows, different colours of windows, door and roof tiles.
In addition we offer made to measure buildings, a slab base laying service* or old shed removal*.

Home Offices - Specifications
All timber used in the manufacture of the home office originates from sustainable forests.c
Insulated Floor
Tanalised framing 2"x2" (50mmx50mm) planed and rounded with Tongue and Groove floor (16mm nominal). Insulated with polystyrene and boarded with OSB Boards (12mm thick), ready for you to lay flooring of your choice.
Lined & Insulated walls
Externally clad with fully tanalised shiplap (16mmx125mm) nominal. Internally constructed with 50mmx75mm CLS (Canadian Lumber Stock) Timber. The building is lined with vapour check barrier and insulated. Internally clad with HDF (High Density Fibreboard) panelling in a choice of colours. Samples available.
Insulated roof
Constructed with tanalised timber rafters 4"x2" (100mmx50mm) . 50mm thick insulation is fitted between the joists. Externally sheeted with OSB3 (12mm) boards with roof-felt tiles. Available in a choice of colours.
Fascias, Bargeboards and Guttering
Fitted with tanalised softwood fascias and bargeboards, fitted with soffit vents, guttering and down pipes are supplied and fitted as standard.
PVCU Windows & Doors
The doors and windows used in the manufacture of the buildings are similar to those used in house building and have toughened glass as standard, PVCU manufactured within FENSA regulations and ISO 9000. Windows incorporate friction hinges and trickle vents, tested to BS 7950. Doors have a 5 point locking system and are tested to British Standard PAS-23:1999. They have a 10-year lockmaster guarantee and Hoppe security handle.
Electrics
A consumer unit, two double sockets, light switch and fitting would be pre-wired and installed as standard. However, due to Part P regulations the customer would require a qualified electrician to make the final connection on site after installation.
